I'm primarily a student and I work 2 pt time jobs. Studying to become an elementary teacher...one more year left...woohoo! on my down time, i never have enought time to do all there is to do. So, over the past few years of being alive i have determined that people develop likes and dislikes. The following are my likes and dislikes both about things in general and people i have come across.

I DO like... (love actually) to laugh and make others laugh (it's a skill i put on my resume)
(love) baseball especially going to watch the Angels,
(love) love to play my guitar,
like to write music,
& actually like learning how things work (kind of a nerd... A cool nerd haha)

People who i don't like to associate with include,
douches, turds, assholes, and so on and so forth. Jk i find those term vague so I'll be more specific:
people who cant develop their own taste in things, especially music. No one like all music, it's really just not possible.
people who try to put other people down for self esteem gain
People who try too hard to be trendy, in the end who the fuck really cares how cool you try to look, be yourself
and people who always try to pick fight, both verbally and physically (meatheads)

I DO like people who:
are comfortable with themselves and others,
don't mind making fun of themselves (or others... sometimes haha),
are creative,
fun and adventurous
classy when the circumstances call for it,
are not super uptight

I'll keep it simple. I am a very active person and I try to be outdoors as much as I can. I excercise often and I do a lot of camping, hiking, dirtbike riding, snowboarding and surfing just to name a few. I'm also a huge sports fan esspecially football, so if you like the chargers then I already like you. It sounds cliche but I really do like almost any kind of music...although I am progressively disliking hip-hop and rap more and more. Way too much garbage coming out recently.

I'm the type of person that can have a good time wherever I go... well almost anywhere. I always enjoy meeting new people and am a firm believer that you can never know too many people and should always network as much as possible. I love new enviornments, new situations, experiencing different cultures and can mingle with just about any crowd. I also believe that most people are not nearly as easy going as they say are. That being said, I am most definitely easy going and I make a point to surround myself with people that are the same.

Okay so after that disclaimer let me start with saying...I love my sexy heals, my weekend sneakers and my dirty old hiking boots. Although TV is a rare occasion for me I very much enjoy a small dose of family guy, house and the office. I can't help but laugh at the irony of life, poke at others when they're asking for it, and sing in the shower in the mornings. Frugalness is my middle name but enjoying a nice resort once in a blue moon if mandatory.

Well, truth be told, I am new to the whole dating scene. Just looking for a tough, masculine kind of guy (like myself). If you are looking for labels, stop right there; I'm not your stereotypical, run-of-the-mill gay guy. I do not consider myself completely "out" either, because there are still plenty of people in my straight life that I am not ready to give up on yet. My personality is that of a straight guy, but I assure you, as the saying goes, it is not wise to judge a book by its cover.
Although I may not display any outward signs that I am gay, I can be warm, compassionate, courteous and protective when the need arises. Also, I might as well say that gay bars and feminine men really aren't my thing, so I apologize dudes, but you're going to have to look elsewhere. What I really want is someone who can not only become my partner, but a friend as well. I want someone to be "rough" with, not a delicate flower. Someone who I can compete with, maybe even spar with; a rival, in other words.
I like the idea of having someone in which we can mutually understand and encourage each other to do the best we can. I'd like to be with that guy who I could really lean my weight on; someone dependable and willing to lean on me back. I am a low-maintenance kind of guy and I can take care of myself, but it doesn't hurt to have someone around for companionship. My ideal partner has to be someone who won't shy away from physical activities, but will rise to the challenge when it comes to intellectual ability as well. Stimulating conversation is just as important, maybe even more, in my opinion.
Now, I do not really care about the "perfect" body; as long as you like going out and playing sports, I don't really mind. I enjoy working out at least two or three times a week, and martial arts is one of my main hobbies. My other hobbies include video games and reading, although these are not exclusive; I'm open up to cultural and educational endeavors as well.
I'm a mellow kind of guy, and I hope to find another person like that someday; someone who can challenge me both physically and mentally, and perhaps someday we can both take on the world together.

I'm at a state right now of total satisfaction. . . For some odd reason it took last year- the hardest year ever to get me to see my own strength. I've found happiness in every situation, and a purpose for every thorn in my side. lol

i'm an easy going, fun loving, loving, affectionate and smart gal. i can go out to the bar and play pool or darts, walk along the beach, or just stay at home and relax. i love the outdoors. i've done alot of things and love to learn new things. not necessarily good at any of it, but still enjoy it.

I'm left-brained and tend to view things on a more analytical and logical point of view. I'm not a writer by trade and what few things I've written are typically of a technical nature.

I'm in the technology industry, no big surprise there, dealing with bits and bytes on a daily basis. I enjoy what I do and find it a blessing to be able to find a means to pay the bills via something I have fun doing (most days). So yes, I consider myself, and proud to be, a geek.

I'm easy going and try not to take anything too seriously. True that there's a time and place for everything; but, I like injecting a bit of comic relief as often as possible. My humor tends to be on the dry, sarcastic, one liner types, so don't expect a stand up routine.

If you're familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality tests, I test as either INTJ or ISTJ, usually leaning towards the iNtuitive more often than the Sensitive side. I love a good argument/exchange of ideas, especially ones that challenge my own beliefs and/or point of views.

Learning is a big thing for me. I envision that I'd be spending my retirement going back to school and taking classes for the sake of learning, perhaps even get into teaching.

What am I looking for and why am I here? I'm looking to expand my circle of friends; and, should there be one that leads to more than friendship, then all the better. I'm a firm believer that the person you spend the rest of your life with should ultimately be your best friend and confidant. I try not to have too much expectations of what may develop with the people I encounter, other than a good friendship first and foremost.
