Downtown Santa Ana becomes active in the arts the first Saturday of each month. Galleries, artists, theatres and restaurants host the Artists Village Open House. This event attracts individuals from throughout Los Angeles and Orange County areas to see the latest works from the residents of this arts colony. The Village includes more than 50 art studios and galleries located in 7 buildings in historic Downtown Santa Ana.

The federal courthouse, named the Ronald Reagan Federal Building, was nominated for the Presidential Design Awards and for the Presidential Millennium Award for Design Excellence. The building incorporates technology and tradition. It has become a catalyst in the revitalization of downtown Santa Ana and its commitment to serving the business industries.
